My favorite thing about gotg was how Peter overcame his grief and turned into a goofball. We first saw him mourning over his loss and then abducted by an alien spacecraft. Imagine the terror and despair he had to go through…but next scene he’s dancing wild and enjoying the little things in life. And I think it sends a very meaningful message to the kids out there who have lost their parents. It tells them ”yes there are hard times and you’ll feel lost and lonely, but everything will turn out okay in the end.”
I’m not crying. Nope, nopity nope-nope.
Yes there are hard times and you’ll feel lost and lonely, but someday you’ll find inner peace with the space junkers that kidnapped you and become a wanted criminal throughout the entire galaxy.
Sock is a sweet but somewhat unstable teen who commits suicide after the accidental murder of his own parents. In Hell he meets Mephistopheles, the amicable manager of the underworld, who offers him a job: Sock is to become a demon, tasked with haunting humans and driving them to suicide. At first this seems like Sock’s dream job—a way he can finally act on his desires without consequence—but after meeting his first target, a disinterested highschooler named Jonathan, he finds himself with another desire that just might be stronger… and just might have a consequence.

I was asked to create a .gif of a house interior during an earthquake. The article chronicles the controversial aftermath of the devastating quake that happened in L’Aquila, Italy in 2009. I wanted to capture the movement of the “tremors” before the full-on earthquake, although this tremor is infinite, never resolving.
